Format
Key note presentation on Active Gaming and Interactive Fitness including an introduction into lesson planning using active gaming for traditional curriculum objectives. Lesson plan based on heart rates was demonstrated using Gamercize for Xbox 360 and Polar heart rate monitors. The lesson plan was introduced and ran in the background to provide a completed worksheet during the main presentation. A resting heart rate of 60 was demonstrated to be raised to an average of 120 for 30 minutes with a peak of 138.

Comprehensive presentation on Active Gaming including both view points of participant "what the child thinks" and exercise physiologist point of view. Largely evidence based with many products illustrated and evaluated. Attended at significantly well over capacity with delegates seated and standing in the corridor outside.

Format
A collection of brief presentations on Active Gaming from various industry and academic viewpoints. Demonstrations of exergaming equipment carried out by SUNY Cortland students wearing wireless heart rate monitors that were shown in real time on the main view screen. Delegates had the opportunity to talk 1 to 1 with the presenters and try the exergaming equipment for themselves. Attended at significantly well over capacity causing some disruption in the concourse.
